I'm in the market for a couple of long drift pins, 18-20". I found some at Snap On but they're priced like a Snap On. Looked at all the usual suspects, HF, Northern Tool, Sears and a few others and have found shorter pins, but nothing as long as I want. I found a 20" brass on eBay but looking for steel.

Any suggestions for suppliers?

How about using some tool steel? You should be able to choose your preffered hardness.

Thanks guys. I was thinking of some round tool stock if I couldn't find anything though the Fastenal piece is exactly what I'm looking for.

Yes those are cheap. And the first place I looked. And about 10" shorter than what I was looking for.
