In less than 3 weeks, NASA Florida will be racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway for our second race weekend of the season. For those of you who've raced with NASA FL before, you know how good of a group this is to run with. The people are very friendly and welcoming, the events are lots of fun overall, and since I've taken over as SM group leader, we've been doing some great tech inspections throughout the weekend, and I'm actually very happy to say that we haven't found not even a hint of dishonesty so far since I've taken the helm as SM leader!
March is a great time to race in Florida, and with no other Spec Miata events being held this weekend anywhere in the Southeast, it's a good time to come check out the fun and LOADS OF TRACK TIME you'll have when attending one of our events! We will be running the club course, which is the "Turn 10" infield (NOT using the banking) configuration. Anyone that's run this configuration knows how much fun it is, it's not used as often as it should be in my opinion! So with that in mind, here's what we got:
For just $299 you're scheduled to get an 1 hour 40 minutes of track time PER DAY! The events include:
-15 minute warm up
-20 minute qualifying
-35 minute race 1
-35 minute race 2
-Saturday Evening Post Race Awards Ceremony and Party (everyone's welcome w/food and drink provided)
