Forgive my ignorance. I've gone through the whole SCCA SM rule book and I see no mention of it. I know how the saying goes. If it doesn't mention it you can not do it. I figured I'd ask anyway. Does it need to stay in? The factory dashbar that is...

You can cut it up to accommodate your cage though.  Without it the dash would only be held in place by one bolt.

Yep, gotta leave it in.  I think it's a silly rule given all the changes in the class over the years.
