Post last weekend's videos here!

For your amusement, my first race. Cue up to to 4:10 for the start. Started P7. Huge battles with Leeson, Tupper and Tim Weaver. I manage a 5th place finish. (About the silver '99 at the end, he forgot to switch over the restrictor plate because the short time between run groups and so he DQ'ed himself.) Enjoy! -Juan

For your further amusement, my second very event filled race starting P6. Cue up to 3:20 for the start. Tupper gets the jump on me in the start and we duke it out, my mirror getting folded back as I lose ground to Joe and Leeson. But I have good pace throughout the race and claw my way back to finish P3 on the podium. Great close racing to enjoy here!

My final race of the weekend. Cue up to 2:15 for the start. Started P5, but came out of the first turn in P2! Philip drops wheels in T3, startled to see me behind him. Couldn't hold Mike Niemann off forever so I went down to P3 after the restart which would have been a good finish. But then I did my damnest to throw it all away. Missed a shift out of the corkscrew and got nailed in the bumper but fortunately keeping the position. Later I cut the T6 apex too close and went four off. I was forced to slow and dropped two spots to finish 5th. Great racing by everyone here. Enjoy!

What, can't find the results on MyLaps? ;) Orange car is Tim Auger. Red car is Tim Weaver. Leeson is in the red 03.

Wow.. what a difference one weekend can make. We went from the last race where everything that could go wrong, did to a near perfect weekend. I really didn't expect to be racing this weekend and want to thank Mike Haag for working relentlessly to get on top of our engine issues and my Dad and brother for all their hard work to get our cars ready in time. Anyways, here is my video from race 2.

Juan -  nice driving - your inputs are waaay smoother than I've seen in previous videos, great adjustment and good close racing!

Who ran Hoosiers this weekend?  How were they compared to Toyos there?  I would think they would make more of a difference at Laguna with relatively short straights and long corners.

I want to say thanks to the Hollifields (esp. Andrew), Juan and Ray for putting my car back together this weekend after that brush with the pit wall in the first race.

Brian, All SM's that I noticed ran Hoosiers. How do they compare vs RA-1s? More expensive. The budget appears to be close to one set ($1K) per weekend for those of us that test. And it seems you still need to burn a session to scrub them in. You know my proposal: to allow RR's IN ADDITION to Hoosiers this year. No down side to that.

Congrats Phillip! No surprise really, Haag probably stole my head and built you a killer motor;). Looking forward to seeing you all in June. And FYI, I watched this video in puerto Vallarta and the guy next to me said " are those miatas?", my wife bought me some tequila after that.

And a ps
1. Who doesn't like to see Michael niemann driving? Super fun
2. Congrats Juan, great results! ( and I told you it's at least one set of Hoosiers per weekend;))
3. I'm protesting, the red car is for Steve and Andrew!
