The South Jersey Region will be conducting the Jersey Devil US Majors Tour races on the Thunderbolt Raceway circuit of New Jersey Motorsports Park on 31 May - 2 June. This double event will be Rounds 9 and 10 of the US Majors Eastern Conference Championship.

Online registration is now open at on the DLB site - . . . Select South Jersey Region as the Club to see the event calender.

There will be a separate SCCA Test Day on Thursday, 30 May on Thunderbolt.

Something is wrong with the registration site. It will not let you register. It says that it has reached the maximum number of drivers - 56- and that the event is full. The 56 number is for all drivers in all classes. There are only like 10 registered for SM.

As I understand, there was a small glitch in the event set-up which has been fixed.  Registration is now working with 72 entries and counting.

Well, I get my physical Tuesday so i'll register once I get my license renewed.

Yah, that five year racer physical.  I forgot I needed one when I went in for my annual checkup physical a few months ago.  Can't renew my license until I send in the form.

 

1.6L car, and one set of tires for the weekend.  Keep it old school! (though in the old school I used to use one set of tires for four weekends....or until I flatspotted them).
