Your invitation to the 2013 version of the Pacific Coast Road Racing Championships

The California Sports Car Club would like to invite you to the 3rd running of the “new” Pacific Coast Road Racing Championships.  A re-birth of the Championship events of the past on the West Coast, back in 2011, the idea of creating a Championship caliber event that would crown the fastest in the West, regardless of Club or Sanctioning Body was born.  The idea of finding actually who was the “Best in the West” without having to consider which sanctioning body was involved put the racing in the hands of the driver and mechanic.  Taking hard data from race events on a track everyone runs at, gathering the data and sorting cars with similar run times, the Pacific Coast Road Racing Championships has created very competitive Run Groups.  NASA cars running door handle to door handle with POC and PCA cars, BMW Club Cars, SCCA Cars, Vintage Racers, and even Pro Class cars all makes for very exciting, competitive racing, allowing the best of the best to shine.

Cal Club is the organizational lead, while Buttonwillow Raceway will provide the racing surface and the insurance (equivalent to SCCA/NASA event insurance), and SCCA’s fines West Coast Flagging/Emergency/Grid/ Tech, and Timing and Scoring crews will work the event.

Lots of track time, and a great Saturday Night Party!
