I usually would but can't this time.
Note that there is a Lemons race at Thunderhill that WE so racers from Norcal may be there instead...

I have not contacted NCRC yet, but I was considering going to BW Sep 14-15. I only have 2 track days in a car to date, but have raced motorcycles at BW and other tracks. My time at Thill was around 2:20, so I need to improve quite a bit. I am really not concerned about being passed or driving within close proximity of others. Do I need to have a race License to participate. Figure I would start in the back. Hoping that if I drive with faster Mata's I can learn lines and improve my skills faster.
Shoot an email to luc@ncracing.org to discuss your specific case. They don't always require a race license.
A couple track days seems light considering it's a mixed race group, you will have to be aware of the viper lapping you mid way through the race ;-)
And of course, I'm assuming your car is "race tech worthy" and you have personal safety equipment in good shape (helmet, hans, suit, gloves, shoes, etc,...)

Do you happen to have a passenger seat?
The driving school, you would get someone to ride along, assuming you're looking to get better/faster.
No point by in Racing but 13/13 gentlemen's rules, but nothing wrong with letting someone know were you want them to pass.
Also there's Youtube videos of BW CW #13 if you want to do some homework and learn the line.
