I'm signed up for both days and was wondering who else is going. It's a NorCal org so I figured I'd try here.

I usually would but can't this time.

Note that there is a Lemons race at Thunderhill that WE so racers from Norcal may be there instead...

I have not contacted NCRC yet, but I was considering going to BW Sep 14-15. I only have 2 track days in a car to date, but have raced motorcycles at BW and other tracks. My time at Thill was around 2:20, so I need to improve quite a bit. I am really not concerned about being passed or driving within close proximity of others. Do I need to have a race License to participate. Figure I would start in the back. Hoping that if I drive with faster Mata's I can learn lines and improve my skills faster.

Shoot an email to luc@ncracing.org to discuss your specific case. They don't always require a race license.

A couple track days seems light considering it's a mixed race group, you will have to be aware of the viper lapping you mid way through the race ;-)

And of course, I'm assuming your car is "race tech worthy" and you have personal safety equipment in good shape (helmet, hans, suit, gloves, shoes, etc,...)

Yes my car is race tech prepared bought it used. I have all gear except for the shoes I have been wearing wrestling shoes. No worries on viper doubt he will have issues getting by me. If i had my line there should be no issues. I think running with similar cars will help me to advance my understanding on line and entry speeds. I will send an email to Luc. Do all racers need to be in open practice prior to attending a race? I was advanced to point by after I made request and had check out ride. Are some racers in point by? Understand no point by in a race.

Do you happen to have a passenger seat?

The driving school, you would get someone to ride along, assuming you're looking to get better/faster.

No point by in Racing but 13/13 gentlemen's rules, but nothing wrong with letting someone know were you want them to pass.

Also there's Youtube videos of BW CW #13 if you want to do some homework and learn the line.

Yes I have a passengers seat. Will take a look on YouTube to see what I can find. May look into getting some time with an instructor.
