Also, I used Speed Bleeders on another car (a CRX) with good results. If you go that route, get the stainless steel bleeders.
Both of these allow you to bleed brakes by yourself.

I also use the Motive Power Bleeder. Most people I know don't use any fluid in the bottle, instead just using it to pressure the system. If you do get it don't bother buying the clutch adapter. Make one yourself with an old clutch cylinder cap and metal tire valve stem with the nut. Your better off with this as the clutch adapter from Motive leaks.

Can you use brake bleeder without needing to pull wheels? I do not have a lift. Guess I could put entire car on jack stands, is that the common method to remove wheels?
Put the car on jack stands and remove the wheels. It's also a great time to inspect your brakes and suspension.

Nice device as long as you use it empty.
Have had one for years but never used it on the Miata.
You really don't need it.
Better to get a quality one man bleeder bottle and pump the pedal.

I use to think that until a buddy loaned me his Power Bleeder. Used it with fluid - flushed the old fluid - and when I was done the master cylinder was already filled to the correct level. Could not have been easier. It was the tits!

You can do it as long as you can reach the bleeder valve. In order to do a thorough job you may have to around more than once so jack stands are a good option. That's what I do at the track.
