All,

Looking for a part number on what I believe is a '97 only part, the bolt with the extra long head that clamps down on the cam sensor / crank sensor.

    As shown in this picutre:

Also, what is the part number and official name of this bolt?

    thanks

My 94 has that bolt, I believe the PN # 9YA0-90-801, its in a weird place on the Mazdaspeed website, under body electronics and then engine switches and relays.

Wow, there it is.  Thanks a lot....

The manual shows a short head bolt, but I am not sure they would have updated it, plenty of other slight discrepancies in pictures in the manuals

Can anyone else confirm what years the long head bolt was OEM?

Anyone else want to try to confirm that part number as the long head guy?

I am surprised that I couldn't find this searching htese forums, is there another name for that part that, I didn't post in my original questions?  Want to make sure this is findable for future generations . . . .

Just call Mazdaspeed...you'll get what you need! My guess is this bolt was an improvement to allow easy wrench access.

If you haven't joined Mazdaspeed, you should.

If you have, I would think it would only take a phone call to find/order.
