Does anyone have experience towing two Miatas in a 28 foot enclosed aluminum tag trailer?
I think 32' would be minimum size for two miata's. you have to have room in front and rear to get in there to tie them down. in a 28 if they would even fit at all they will be rubbing the front and rear of trailer as well as bump drafting each other inside your trailer. I have a 36' and that is about perfect for 2 cars and all your gear!

It can be done, but you will have virtually no extra floor space.

I am pretty sure Meathead used a 28' V-nose trailer to carry two cars.
Two cars in a 28' VNose with no problems. I even use the stock tie downs. Plenty of room for spares and two huge tool boxes.

I was in the same boat last year. I wish now that I would have bought either a 28' V-nose or 30' to 32' Enclosed instead of the 28' Enclosed (but it was a really good deal). The cars fit fine, but there is very little room and strapping them down is tough. I added 8 more D-rings in the floor so that I had the proper tie-off locations. I also took the suggestion from many on this forum and added two overhead storage decks for all the gear and tires. There is nearly no room on the floor, but I do fit a 5 drawer tool box in the front left of the trailer. I'll probably install a winch soon so I can pull the cars in.

Anyone have a thought on how much truck you'd need to tow a 30/32' bumper pull trailer with 2 1.6L Miatas in it?

A truck that has a tow capacity greater than the weight of the trailer and 2 Miatas? Is this a trick question?
Kidding aside...3/4 ton minimum, 1 ton duelly better...Diesel best!

I've been using a 28' Featherlite for several years.
Pre-set chains in front, then use ratchet straps to pull back.
Two Tire racks left to right hold 5 sets of tires.
Its for sale, $10,500. ready to go, looking to down size.

For those towing 30'+ tags, how are they to live with in traffic and around town?

I am towing with a 36 foot Pusher. I dont have any problem with it but I have been towing my whole life. It work very well with the pusher as it actually turns better then our dually does.
20' trailer you can tell---but 24-28-30 all seem the same. Mine is a Two axle 7K axle unit not a tri axle.
