Here is NASA MA First race on Saturday. Only my second time at VIR. Ran the Test and Tune Friday with Tom Long Coaching and dropped 6 seconds (2:34 previous best). Was not able to improve on 2:28 in this race due to the rain. I started last in SM and was up to 6th when I spun in South Bend on the first lap. Then spent the rest of the race working back through to finish 6th. Saturday afternoon race was dry and I did manage to shave another 2 seconds off. Sunday's race was also wet so no improvement but next time I'm confident I'll get down to 2:24's. Enjoy,I sure did.
