I know this sounds dumb, but PB Blaster "CBD" (citrus based degreaser) works so much better than every other citrus based dissolver thing I have ever used .... it is expensive and comes in an aerosol can and is hard to find, but saves a ton of time.

Another good citrus based cleaner is "KarnaKleen"....it's made by the Karnak corporation and is used to clean off roof tar....works really well, about $30 per quart.
All my roofing customers who race love the stuff. Takes rubber marks right off too.
Also, a company called CrystelTek makes a product for removing vinyl decals called "vinyl off" I use it a fair amount, and it's great on duct tape residue. www.vinyloff.com

Black SM/SM2/"Slap Bracelet Throwback" #12 in the Northeast....if the car was made in the early 90's it should look like it.

Nothing, I mean nothing works like 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner. Can be found at NAPA...
leave it on to soak for a minute or two and you'll be able to swipe it clean with very little effort. We use it for about anything that needs cleaning too. Works really good for cleaning gear oil off the floor. Amazing stuff!
