Hi All

here is the last three laps of the January 2011 Spec MIata National Race1 at Homestead. Chip Van Vurst holds me off by 15/1000ths of a second. Andrew finishes third. A great clean race from start to finish.

Many thanks to Mike Rossini for the great engine, Tom and Tim at OPM for the great support and to Traqmate for the great data package.

Looked like fun. You were making up lots of time under braking. What class was the pink car in? That thing was a rocket ship down the straight.

Danny,

As always your videos are great. Thanks for posting. What is the guage left middle eyeball vent, it was going to 1 in the banking and exit, my guess is that is your oil pressure guage from watching the others. That guy in the pink car just pulled on up and threw out the parachute infront of you guys, was that because he is basically a big brick with torque.

the guage in the left eyeball vent is the fuel guage measured in percentage. And yes that pink VW Rabbit was a monster - well over 250Hp, and he would blast by and then sometimes just stop. I had a few words with him in impound, but he was oblivious to what he had done to us on the banking in that race.

Whew, I feel better knowing it wasn't your oil pressure.

Satire is primarily a literary genre or form, although in practice it can also be found in the graphic and performing arts. In satire, vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, and society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be funny, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon.
