As a racer I love cool items that work, add safety and just make good sense like a bracket on a hole mount PTT system...

We started adding a PTT bracket years ago to our hole mount PTT systems because we felt that it was a safety issue. We couldn't tell folks to drill a large 5/8' hole in your steering wheel spoke. When (not if) you get in a major crash the wheel is going to the very best place to keep your hands (if you can) but having it fold over due to a weak spot is just not safe. So we started adding a mounting bracket kit and folks love it!

As a endurance driver I like that the button is hard mounted and easy to reach. Over the years we have seen the hole mount button hold up much better than a Velcro units, especially when other drivers are involved.

Here is a short video we just posted that shows the kit and the proper install of a PTT coil cord http://youtu.be/ABCzKH5PS-w

Cheers, Shawn Sampson

Pretty slick.  I bet you can use for the NOS button as well.
