I am looking to retrofit one of the old mufflers to my 99. I really enjoy the sound! I am not worried about power at all.

 

If anyone has one of these old things laying around and a sawzall. Slap a label on the muffler and ship it (don't care if its not in a box when shipped)

Sold mine last year. Since MazdaSpeed no longer sells them they have become somewhat desirable to the east coast SSM crowd. Muffler was manufactured by Bosal. You may be able to get it directly from them.

MBS exhaust if you are just looking for better sound.  Power is very close and the sound is alot better then the SD and quieter.

You dont need to cut it up to bolt onto a '99.  Just get a '99 cat bypass pipe from Mazdaspeed and its a direct fit.
