For most of the time I am a one man show. I want buy a brake bleeding system that can change fluids and bleed lines that I can perform by myself.  Looking for suggestions and comments on a one person brake bleeding system.

Thanks Tom M

I use the motive bleeder system. they have an adapter that hooks up to the miata brake fluid resivor, I also use it dry so i just pressurize the resivor and go to each wheel and bleed it off.

The speed bleeder system out there that uses a check valve is unreliable and subject to failure, not worth the risk in my view and they do fail.

What Frank said. A two person bleed is still the best though.

Using the Motive the most time consuming part is putting the car on jackstands and removing the wheels.  Here's my procedure for ordinary between-weekend bleed:

  1. Put car on stands and remove wheels
  2. Fill reservoir to brim (the M/C reservoir, never actually put fluid in the Motive)
  3. Attach Motive and pump to 10psi or whatever it is
  4. Open LR caliper and drain until reservoir half empty (or half full depending on your outlook :) )
  5. Move to RR caliper and drain until reservoir empty (just below line, not empty enough to risk sucking air)
  6. Detach Motive and refill reservoir to brim
  7. Reattach motive and re-pressurize
  8. Open RF and drain until reservoir is half empty
  9. Move to LF and drain until reservoir almost empty
  10. Detach motive and fill M/C reservoir to "full" line.  Close and done.  10 minutes max.
  11. Recheck everything one last time before replacing wheels.

Can anyone suggest improvements on that procedure, would love to hear them!

Same exact procedure I do.
