Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the delay in getting the word out about this years event. With the changes in Club racing and the need for another double regional in the Great Lakes Division the race committee has decided to invite all SCCA classes. The weekend format will be the same as years past with a weekend points championship. Stay tuned as we get the proposed race groups together for this years event. 

BTW, The Cincinnati region will have a second track on which to run in 2015.

Only if it has a LS motor.

Yes that would be an all class Spectacular.  Second track is the Corvette Museum facility, its still on schedule to be complete this fall and running a full schedule in 2015.

I'm sorry I've been off-line lately. I've been trolling for nurses again at a local hospital. Gall Bladder removal this time so I expect a quick recovery.

But the Cincinnati Region of the SCCA has registration open for the 2014 IT/SPEC*tacular Plus at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, August 8-10, 2014. We have added the "Plus" to the name this year to highlight the inclusion of all SCCA and Great Lakes Division Classes to our event. We will still have the three-race format for declaring the weekend championship in each class. Additionally, there will be two championship series included in the weekends events. The US Formula 1000 East Championship Series, and the Hoosier Racing Tire Formula FST Series will each be holding two of their season's events.

Friday, August 8th will be the popular PDX, and The Mid-Ohio School will hold a Test & Tune session.

As for 2015, we have been slowly working with track and SCCA officials to plan an event at the yet -to-be-opened National Corvette Museum Motorspot Park (NCM-MSP) in addition to the IT/SPEC*tacular at Mid-Ohio. It promises to become a great club-race facility. Their website has track configuration info, and we will be posting more information as things start to firm up.

I am signed up and ready to go. Looks to be a competitive weekend. Should be fun. We should be paddocked up in the grass on the top of the hill. Everyone is welcome to swing by and watch some video's by the camp fire after the day is done.

Stupid Fast Tires will be there with our tire service trailer. Myself and Aaron Quine will be there so if you need any help with tires, mounting, balancing, etc let us know!
