We have done this test on the road with a OBD2 reading it but it has been a few years and I cannot remember the number we were looking for, Jim knows what the number is maybe he can post that up.

24(.5) unless you have a hotrod ECU then its 28 or 30 depending which flavor you like....

Funny you should say that as that was what I was checking for, found that a certain car I had aquired had just that, we had put an advanced timing wheel on the car and were losing power, which made us think that a cheater ecu was inthe car. it was confirmed through this test... as i remeber it now it was like 30.2

I thought is was 23.5, but I have not check in a long time. But definitely worst would be 23.5 stock if all is working correctly24(.5) unless you have a hotrod ECU then its 28 or 30 depending which flavor you like....

I should have said 24 (+/- .5) it really depends on how sophisticated your scan tool is and if it can even read to the .5 degree.
