The intake manifold brace from my car is currently out (for better access to the alternator) and I was wondering if people kept the part in or ran without it?

Put it back on. Helps keep the intake manifold from loosening up on its mounting bolts.
Thanks!

If you need another reason; I bought a car, after a while it wouldn't run right, found it had no brace and two snapped-off intake manifold bolts.

If folks understood the harmonics of this engine they wouldn't remove the aluminum brace or the right angle steel brace the attaches to the throttle body and intake manifold.
