So who is planning on making this race?  Provided work doesn't get in the way, I'm going to try and make it.

The last few races NASA has had at Thunderbolt have been great ones.  Last fall was decided by a last lap pass, the year before it was a back and forth drafting battle the whole time, and I promised Tony I wouldn't remind him hose close he was to winning the one before that but all four front runners could have been covered by a blanket.

The nice thing about the NASA race weekends is that if you only want to do one day, you can.  Each day has at least a qually and a race.  Also there is a handful of new and young drivers who are really making everyone up their game.

Really hope to make this one.

I'll be there. This is a great opportunity to get some races in to qualify for the NASA national.

vick the TOYO RR's have arrived and i plan on being there with bells on....the road atlanta championship is enticing and if it's anything like the first few ones i went to at Mid-O, it should be a blast.  that being said i need to see what the NASA fuss is all about.

Vick,

I'll be there. You better be there. I want a re-match.

You are right, there have been a lot of close races lately. Tony and I had a photo finish at NJMP-lightning a few weeks ago. He got me by 0.02sec, and Paul was only a second and a half behind me. My only consolation prize was setting the track record. Anyway, can't wait.

I'm moving my transponder from the back of the car up to the front......it's been that close.

Will be good to see the planet guys there.  Between Marc and Marcus there is going to be a lot of drifted out no lift cars!

Again, still waiting on a permission slip and seeing what work looks like, but if we get enough miatas I would really consider bringing my smoker to the track and doing a brisket miata party Saturday night.  I figure a 14 lb brisket and some chicken breast can feed a field of 15 cars.

You know you can't just throw that out there then say you can't make it because of work.

Just registered....this is going to be the largest spec miata field NASA NE has seen I think.

I may not bring out the smoker for the bbq....the reason being there is going to be a benefit bbq for wounded warriors and I don't want to step on their toes.  Will let you know if I do.

Wasn't peer pressure Paul, but thanks for the gentle ribbing.

Let me know if anyone is up for a craft beer bet on the races.
