Never having sim raced...does the facility actually have to give permission or agree if it receives royalties of some sort? What does the petition accomplish...just curious?

It was in my April Thunderhill News letter so I'm assuming they're promoting it.

Some other stuff...

No More Dropped Calls

Thunderhill Raceway park will soon be the sight of much-improved Verizon cell telephone service in West Glenn County. The 60-foot tower will enhance cell, internet and other on-line services to those within reach of the boosted signal. 

 

The impetus for the expansion is the increasing volume of media and other major internet feeds emanating from the 530 acre recreational road racing facility. The online date is expected to be in early June as part of the grand opening of the new track extension on June 21st for an SCCA Double Championship regional points race.
