61 SMs entered. Nice.
410 total registrations (of course a bunch of those are double-dips with two 75-minute enduros). Should we start a pool on by how many the 2015 Runoffs attendance will break the existing record?
(Also, there are 83 volunteers registered and 77 pre-registered for the autocross that will run on the kart track concurrently)

I'm not the best race reporter but it was a good weekend.
I had a great time at Daytona as always, the Florida boys are a fast bunch. Saturday started with rain in qualifying then it started to rain really hard most got one lap and the session was black flagged. The race started in steady rain but that tailed off toward the end of the race. By that time Selin Rollan was way out front cruising to the win. Ethan Low P2 and Chip Van Vurst P3.
Sunday was clear blue sky dry race. It was more of a dog fight and a little OFC driving back where I was. I don't know the finishing order. I packed up post race for my 8hr drive home. I think maybe the Autotechnic guys finished on top??? The race had a full course caution after a guy parked on track at the track out of turn 3. Then after the restart I had a guy try to spin into my passenger door in turn three (I missed him others didn't) and that caused a major wreck that brought out another full course yellow and the end of the race.
I only saw one car with regional power the others were all strong but in the box.
It's always fun to race at Daytona, hard racing

Sunday weather was perfect. Autotechnik is dialed in at Daytona - the 2015 Runoffs should be a hale of a show.
The enduro was great fun. I drafted with "Fireman" Dave Metz most of the race and I think we pick-up a few spots - then my engine done blowed up two laps from the end. Still had a hoot - Love racing at Daytona. We need more Great-Lakers in the mix!

Funny you should say that, I actually tried to get Dutch and Frank and I to all get to that race, but Dutch is busy chasing points, and Frank is busy chasing ambulances...

LOL, just trying to get them out of Mid Ohio is a feat in itself...
And yes Frank often finds a paycheck right after chasing those ambulances.
Glad you had a great time with Metz, he is a very cool dude!

You two should go apply for late night comedy TV.
If you can get Murdick and Guthrie out of Ohio that would be newsworthy.
Now you know why i have been trying to convince Drago to put a red Cross on the back of his car.

I saw those two at the convention in Indy and thought they were lost

Are we going to have any issues with Runoffs at Daytona with bouncing off the rev limiter from start/finish to turn 1? If so, solution?
