Was the Fit penalized?

How embarrassing...being passed by a B-spec!

It was called as a racing incident by the stewards.

 

The Miata that was passed was running on 3 cylinders with a 4th one kicking in occasionally which is why we got around him.

I dont know the track but if getting to the apex on that corner is critical(and normal)...this definitely falls under one of the "Unwritten rules" listed in another thread!

The contact happened in riverside.  I knew the S2000 was under me which is why I was a bit wide and when I saw him clear I was setting up to catch the next corner.  There happened to be Fit there though.

 

It would be a good candidate for that other thread with all of the different camera views of the same incident.
