For all you Spec Miata enthusiasts, I just borrowed Mike Halpin's (1st place finish) in car video from that famous race on December 4th, 2005 in Phoenix. This was the very first SpecMiata national race for the SCCA. He had a four camera setup in his car viewing the windshield, rear, steering/shifting and his feet.
I'm telling you, this needs to be put in the archives for SpecMiata (if there is such a thing)....If you have an opportunity to see this video, I think you would agree. He drives a masterful race posting a 1:13.4 in a 1990' (1.6L)
Karumba....makes me second guess my most recent acquisition (2000').
Now, all that I need is one of those original pictures taken prior to the race signed by all the racers (31) and I could start the national archive museum.
