I noticed that my radiator has quiet a bit of rubber build up in it.  What is the best way to remove this?  I was thinking of blowing it out with compressed air, any reason not to do this?

Be very careful testing with compressed air, the fin materal is real thin and will de-shape. You may be better off poking from the back side with a piece of wire or wait untill somone with experience shows up. Never had a similar issue. Do you have a mesh screen per the SMCS rule in front of your radiator?

There is a screen in the air inlet 1/4" mesh, this just appears to be real fine rubber that is in between the fins of the radiator.

I use zip ties to poke out the rubber and straighten the fins.  Not very technical or fun.

You can buy an actual fin straightening tool, not sure if it is good for removing the rubber though.

Remove radiator mand drop onto the garage floor, face down from about 3 inches. Won't hurt the rad and you will be amazed at how much falls out

Watched a guy use this stuff on our outside AC unit. Sprayed on, waited, hosed off. Worked really well.
