I'm using the wrong seat currently in my SM that restricts my arm movement due to larger side bolsters.  I've watched a ton of content online to see if I can find out what the best mix of safety and comfort in a SM seat is, but would love some recommendations.  If you could include a link to the product or a picture of what you guys are using that would help a ton.  Thanks!

This is the seat I'm currently using:  http://www.ultrashie...alog.php?id=142

Keeps me locked in place but far too restrictive.

Thanks in advance!

Have someone modify the seat to reduce the bolstering. If would be far cheaper that buying a whole new seat.

It might be helpful if you listed your height and weight and pics of your current seat/cage setup.

That seat is made for circle track racing and consequently the right side head containment brace and the rib bolster is turned in.  It's not made for turning/looking right or doing a lot of gear changing.  Ultrashield  makes that same seat in a road race version which I have used because it allows you to sit about as low as possible in a Miata.  Having said that, I did modify one of those seats for a Miata but it took a lot of time and effort,
