Hey it's Sheridan, red and pink #30 SM @ PIR.

I am entering my third year of racing at PIR. Currently, in the process of getting things together to give rides for the Dash for Kids (formally known as Doernbecher) race. Unfortunately my dad, Terrell Garrett, and I dissected our only extra seat last summer so we no longer have an extra rider seat. Does anyone have an extra rider (racing) seat that will fit in a Miata that I would borrow/rent for that weekend (August 8-10). All help is greatly appreciated!!!

Sincerely,

Sheridan Garrett

Hi Sheridan,

I'll double check with the Keenans, but I am pretty sure we have an extra one at the shop. Tell your dad hi for me

Looks like Kyle probably does not have one. If anyone else knows of someone it would be greatly appreciated.

I've got an Ultrashield SM seat sitting in my garage, but it's a good ways away here in Texas.  :(

We've got a passenger seat for schools and track days (3 novices = a lot of driver's schools) that bolts in to the stock right side mounts. It does basically sit on the floor like our driver's seat though, so it might be a bit low, I don't know. You can borrow it with our brackets, or even just take the seat and make your own if you can't find a better seat. We also have a Schroth harness to go with it that has the 4 pt. 'anti-submarining' option, which might be useful if you don't have mountings for a 5-6 pt. harness on the passenger side.

(BTW- I'm going to be leaving tomorrow afternoon to crew for my brother with Conference at ORP, so I might not be able to respond to anything Fri-Sat.)

Just a spell down yonder.

I have an opinion so I must be right

Series Champ - Won a points based series in a Spec Miata Survivalist - Won 25 Hours at Thunderhill! We have a Winnah! - Won their 1st race... Congratulations! Bona fide - A bonafide Spec Miata driver

I can send it by horse.  It'll arrive in a bit- the prairie is rough this time of year. ;)
