Trying to bring back an old tradition. Who's going to woop-up on who?

Personally I would like to see Meathead in SSM so I can woop up on him...again. C'mon #14....

Rich Hromin is out because his "Hot Rod" was sold, maybe he can talk the new owner into letting him drive it one last time.....to 10th place this time!

Bad Al will drive either a blue automatic or a red automatic just so he has an excuse.....

Will "I Made it Through!" please keep taking video, it's very entertaining indeed.

Can we get Vinny to give us a top 10 prediction??

I just showed a friend the "I made it through!" video this morning. Hopefully he gets back out there soon.

Oh, and for smack talk, I'm going to kick all of your asses so watch out. (<- that's the beer talking. You have nothing to worry about)

Picking a winner in sm is gonna be tough, theres about 8 guys that could win any race and thats why i love the marrs series. I will show up Friday night, drink way too much beer and qualify horribly in the morning. I will slowly work my way up to the front and then lose the lead when all the meathead guys bumpdraft past me and i will finish fourth. Somewhere in the race i will hit Todd Lamb and the stewards will yell at me afterwards and threaten to take away my finishing position. I will then head home and enter a dark depression until the first marrs race of next season.

I might show up on even older tires that make even more noise in the turns just so I can post video and give everybody a good laugh.

OK, Here is my SSM top 10 list (post dyno protests and other protests):

1. Bad Al

2. Slowson pushing Bad Al, of course...

3. Wobbles

4. Meat (remember I said post protests)

5. Too Hotz

6. Spaz (Nathan)

7. Chris "don't Blow a gasket in tech"

8. "I let you by" Myhar

9. David "I Made it Through" Levin

and Finally....

10. Turk "I drove the wheels off it" Petracca

Other predictions:

Sam will go off causing him to lose several positions and miss the top 10

Josh will get run off track by Meat, causing him to miss the top 10, paper will fly

In the BSR/DTU Challenge, despite being one driver down, BSR will win, again....

Gene Clevenger will be stuck under a mobile home across the street....

Fire truck will be called across the street....

* All of these are subject to change, pending entry list changes.

BTW, The Weekend Warrior Motorsports Ranch and Sportsman Club may be partially open. Garage floor has been partially etched and painting should commence this weekend. The grounds have been manicured and if the trees have dried enough, we may have an enormous bon-fire (hence the Fire Truck prediction).

How about the MARRS title points battle... whats the deal in SSM?

I think SM is very tight.... is this finally Meathead's year for the ellusive SM crown or will Cahall/Lamb paint their cars yellow to haunt all of the MARRS champs of yesteryear?

What are the scenarios for the title?

There are a lot of scenarios.  The easiest is if I finish 2nd to Lee York both days or just win both I win.  If Lee wins both and I'm 3rd or worse he wins.  There are several others all with mathematical shots...Tim Jacobs, Rob Hines (not racing so technically out), Neil O'Rourke and Ted Cahall.  For any of those 4 to win the championship, they need to win both days and Lee and I need to be pretty far back....

It would be nice to win.  However my car will be on a trailer on its way to the runoffs.  I'm driving an unproven backup car and hope to be able to stay close to the front and see how it all sorts out....

From experience Mike, unproven backup cars seem to work pretty well when they need to in MARRS. Also, winning tends to help best with points.

Based upon their driver's school experience, if it rains my money is on the SSM rookies to lead the pack and if it snows they will sweep the podium.

Meat can't push me off track since I won't be racing. :(
However, If I were racing, I would probably get left out in "no-mans land" again, just to catch Sam and David on the last 2 laps, just so I could record their battle. Or, I would chase David around the whole race, wondering how he made it through the turns so fast, when he wasn't even touching the asphault. Certainly can't get too close, since we never know what he is going to do. :)
My predictions. Olson won't finish (overheating) Bad AL will push someone off. Meat will Piss someone off. Bates will wave ALOT and hopefully Polishuk will stay on track.
Good luck all. Btw, "Movie night" should be Saturday night at our usual MonkeyButt pit spot. I guarantee a good time.

Bummer you will not be there... I guess my prediction is correct, you will not finish in the top 10... What will we do for videos now?

As for your predictions:
Slowson will finish, car wasn't overheating, just a bad sensor and wrong thermostat.Car ran low 28s a few days ago. I think it even broke the sound barrier.... it passed a corvette on the front straight...
Bad Al never hits other drivers.....just T3 tire wall. Other people drive into him...
Meat always pisses someone off (safe prediction).
Nate will cause one of the flaggers to have a seizure on his cool down lap. However, he will finish in the top 5.

Since we have a few more entrants, I will be forced to revise my predictions.

I hear there is a new Sheriff in town....

Movie night is still a go. We plan to set-up camp as usual. Just because I'm not racing, doesn't mean I won't be around to see some people make asses of themselves.
