I have several pics in my "My Media - Attachments" area.  I can't seem to delete them.

If I try to upload a pic directly into a post, it is limited to 32.57KB, which is tiny. Is that normal?

What am I doing wrong?  How did you guys upload super gigundo wheelbearing pics?  Or were they just links to outside URLs?

I think the good pics are linked and not imported, but I may be wrong... as I did include some decent pics in the classifieds before and I did not link those. Crap, I dunno.  :noidea:

Attachments are VERY limited here and display only as thumbnails. I gave up and post images to the gallery of my own (very user and mobile friendly) site then link to them here. But I have to switch to a PC for the last step because even the "full" version of this site screws up my links when posted from IOS.

If you have windows with Microsoft office....

right click on the pic.

Select "open with"

Microsoft Office Picture Manager

Up top on the menu is "Pictures" click/open Compress Picture

On the right you should have "Web Pages" or "E-mail messages"

Try Web pages.

Upload it here to your Gallery or another online site like Photobucket.

When you post the link it should be better/size because you compressed it.

I think.

Good luck.

Not really his problem.
I think.

I assumed my issues were mostly with iOS but working from a PC tonight IE kept locking up when I tried to reference an image URL. I finally have up and switched browsers. Just not a very stable or friendly forum package I think.

If working from a PC and looking to reduce the file size or manipulate an image in any way, dowload freeware Irfan view or similar.

Or Jim could allow us a lot more personal file space and a more reasonable maximum single file size! :-)
