I am curious about what races everyone is thinking about attending in our division/majors conference. Last year I ended up at some races with very low turnouts and competition. As of today there is still no majors race in Texas. Assuming the Texas SM contingent feels the same way they did last year about the Majors, what races will you be attending instead?

NOLA 100%
Road Atlanta 75%
Hallett 0% Conflicts with the real athlete in my families volleyball tournament.
Other than that, I will hit TWS and MSRH races.
Hate missing Hallett again this year. Really wanted to run the VVT there. Maybe I will send a real racer in my VVT to play with you.
Rumor has it that we may get to go back to COTA but the timing will keep those going to the Run-offs away.

NOLA Majors 100%
Hallett Majors 50%
TWS 100%
MSRH 90%
COTA 100% if it happens.
Venting again, this Majors thing has been total failure for our part of the world. Lower car counts in the CO majors than at "regional races" in TX. ....
I hope this program is working better elsewhere. Might start doing some NASA events due to lack of events local.

Texas World Speedway Completes SCCA Majors Calendar For 2015
TOPEKA, Kan. (January 9, 2015) – The Mid-States Conference SCCA Majors Tour schedule has been completed with the addition of Texas World Speedway, in College Station, Texas, as a sixth event. The Texas World Speedway event will be held Memorial Day weekend, May 22-24.
The event is being billed as the final Sports Car Club of America race at the super speedway road course, with the facility expected to close to make way for a business district. The track, in use since 1969, is a two-mile high banked oval with a 15-turn, 2.9-mile road course that has been a can't-miss for Club Racers for years.
The track has a long standing SCCA history, not only hosting SafeRacer Club Racing program events but SCCA professional events over the years as well. Texas World Speedway has also hosted IndyCar, NASCAR, IMSA and USAC races.
"Texas World Speedway holds a special place in motorsports history, and SCCA has long been a part of it," Eric Prill, SCCA COO, said. "Whether it was the Can-Am Championship in the 60s, or recent Club Racing events, the track has been a racer favorite for decades. We expect the final SCCA race weekend to be a memorable one, and we thank the Southwest Division and Lone Star Region for including it in the U.S. Majors Tour."
The announcement comes after extensive evaluation of a potential race at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
"In our efforts to develop the most attractive slate of events, we came upon a potential opportunity at Circuit of the Americas that we needed to explore," Prill said. "In the end, TWS is the best option for SCCA and the U.S. Majors Tour in 2015."
SCCA will continue to explore opportunities at COTA for 2016 and beyond.
The 2015 SCCA U.S. Majors Tour Mid-States Conference is as follows:
March 7-8 – NOLA Motorsports Park, Avondale, La. (With Southeast)
April 11-12 - Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, Jennings, Okla.
May 22-24 – Texas World Speedway, College Station, Texas
June 20-21 - Kansas Speedway, Kansas City, Kan.
July 4-5 - High Plains Raceway, Byers, Colo.
July 25-26 – Pueblo Motorsports Park, Pueblo, Colo.

I hope one opportunity is a Runoff.
Unless NASA gets a spot, then no rush.
