Trying to do some calulations, Does anyone know how many MPG a 1999 will get during a race?

Depends on track, temperature, and driving style. 10 - 13 mpg.

I do minutes per gal.
So if i'm getting 8 minutes and it's a 25 minute session, a little over 3 gals.
Empty tank (fuel test port), fill it with your best guess, run, empty and see.
Most set up/weight the car with a gal left.

I have read some old posts that 11mpg might be a rough estimate.

I use 11 mpg as my basic number then add an extra gallon for safety. Comes out very close at most tracks.

My 1.6s have always yielded 7 minutes per gallon. Makes calcs easy, 7 pounds per gallon and 7 minutes per gallon

I believe I calculated 14.5 mpg at VIR in my 1.6

My 1.6 is getting a little over 11 mpg, but I use 10 mpg when calculating fuel just to be safe. This is for racing laps, warm up and full course yellow is much higher.

I use 1 gallon every 10 minutes that's been pretty constant. It will probably be different this year

We run the PBOC 6 hr race at Sebring without restrictor plate every January in our 1999. We get about 1.5 hours to 12 gallons or 120 miles.
