Spec Miata SFR 2015 AIM/TOYO Tires Contingency PDF Print E-mail

Written by Administrator

Ron Cortez of Aim Tires has announced the all new 2015 SFR SCCA AIM/TOYO Tire contingency for Spec Miata.

AIM Tire is offering contingencies to both SMT and SSM, with an additional $75 random drawing based on a pre-selected finishing position, allowing every competitor a chance for contingency money.

SMT class
19+ starters: 1st $195 2nd $130
9-18 starters: $135; $95
5-8 starters: $95; $75
Less than 5 starters - no contingency

SSM class
19+ starters: 1st $115; 2nd $95
9-18 starters: $95; $80
5-8 starters: $75; $50
Less than 5 starters - no contingency

SSM competitors are restricted to only their class contingency, e.g. if a SSM class car finishes 2nd overall and 1st in SSM the contingency will be $115 and NOT $115 plus $130.

These AIM/TOYO contingency payouts are per race! Thus two SFR Regional races per weekend are awarded the above contingencies.

Payouts will be in AIM-BUCKS and can only be redeemed at AIM. No other dealer is included in this program.

AIM - bucks can only be redeemed for TOYO tires and not for labor or taxes or for returned cash.

AIM will not 'hold' AIM-Bucks for the customer on account. All AIM-Bucks must be redeemed prior to the 'end date' on the AIM-Buck certificate.

All cars must have 4 TOYO TIRE decals on their car which can be obtained from AIM Tires.

All cars must have 2 AIM Tires decals on their car which can be obtained from AIM Tires.

Competitors must be registered with AIM prior to receiving any AIM-Bucks. Registration requires that the entrant has purchased a minimum of 4 tires from AIM within the previous 6 months.

That schedule is weird...

It does suck, yes, but it's usually like that at Laguna because of the sound windows. The quieter cars like the SMs get pushed to the beginning and end of the day in the quieter windows. If you're just doing group 7, Fri and Sat are kinda ridiculous, but the good part is you're done at 9 am on Sun! You should double dip in group 5 just so you're slightly less bored.
