Ground at the back is tight and I've undone and redone all of the connectors. Contact cleaner is next for all of them.

It seems more like it goes down on one or two cylinders and then comes back on. Light and heavy throttle and at low and high revs. This is what makes me suspicious of the coils. I suppose it could also be injectors though. I'll see if I can reproduce it today in neutral after the neighborhood wakes up.

Thanks

Paul

No worries about the hijack.

I did find the rout cause of all of my issues. After swapping ECUs, Coils, Cam sensors, and wires, I finally found that one of the wires to the cam sensor was broken inside of the shielding. The connection was fine most of the time but if I moved the wire the connection would break. I replaced the wiring harness and haven't had a problem since. If memory serves me right it was one of the wires that supplies the 5v reference.

I've had the same thing happen to wires leading to the MAF.
