Car is a '99.

My build is progressing, finishing putting disassembled things back together.

Regarding the wiring harness that runs in the interior along the left side of the car, on the floor, to the left of the driver's seat, that goes inside the package tray, and connects to a large connector inside the package tray next to the soft-top tower. It looks like it excites the rear lights, and maybe some other stuff.

Question: There is a branch, an offshoot, that branches off about halfway along the length of this harness (about mid-door), that looks like it may have crossed over the floor to the middle of the car, and ends in a connector. What does this go to? The second (post-cat) O2 sensor, maybe? I should have taken a picture before I disassembled the interior of the car, but I didn't. Note to self; if there is a next time, take pre-disassembly pictures.

Thanks in advance.

Jim

EDIT: There are 4 wires in this branch. Black with red stripe; black with white stripe, solid red; red with yellow stripe.

That should be the wires that go to the second 02 sensor and exits the interior on the tunnel just behind the E brake lever, it its a cal emissions version it will have a plug terminating it under the seat.

That plug is up high by the stock seat belt re tractor, I think he is talking about the wire on the floor under the seat.

Yes, it's on the floor.

It would be easy to tell if it connected to the second O2 sensor if I hadn't removed the O2 sensor when I put the new exhaust in.

I think that's where it went though.
