Last post on this for me,

I totally agree we have full control to get into T1 safely, but this can be controlled by the starts.

We have different ways of starting for safety and fairness reason, some are not in the rules.

RA start is for fairness so no one gets a run on the pole sitter.

Laguna so we're not 6 wide going into T2.

We have Stewards wasting their time and breathe at some tracks where we are not going to follow the rules for safety and fairness reason.

We have the flagmen at the start not calling off the start if the start is not started fairly or safely. I don't think this is a good idea.

I.E. the pole sitter taking off like a jack rabbit in turn 9 at Laguna.

Pole sitter is on and off the gas.

Did you want any additional wording to be added for safety and fairness reason.

Like roll on the gas and/or maintain speed to avoid an accordion effect.

If you don't feel this is necessary, fine

Congratulations!!!!  This is the longest thread BHF has ever had the privilege of being a part of. Kyle, Congrats again for making the absolute most of your opportunity to earn a well deserved win. Hille, hell of a chase! Your videos are inspiring.

Now that we all agree on how to start a race, there are at least a few driver licking their chops at the opportunity to pass all of the others who follow the rules... Nothing can prevent greed.

On to the sprints. I can tell everyone from experience. Any positions you gain at the start at RA, you will probably give back if there isn't a giant wreck because of you. I gained 6 on the front straight when my line got a better start than the one next to me and gave them back within 3 laps. If you want to finish better there, qualify better(at least that's what I plan to do). You can gain a few spots at the start, but you're not going to win because you jumped the start. Behave, play nice and earn your spots. Maybe shoot for 5th in qual. Sounds like it's more advantageous than the pole...
