Race Entry Deadline Changes

In order to give those without a permanent number earlier notice of their assigned car number for races, the entry deadline has moved. The number deadline is now separate from the late fee deadline.

Entry deadline to retain your permanent number is Thursday, the week before the event (Not Thursday the week of the event, the Thursday before.)

The $30 fee for late entries will only be applied to entries received the week of the event (that means Monday, through Thursday. After that, you can still enter at the track with the $50 post entry fee.


2015 Thunderhill Rewards Program

The Thunderhill Rewards Program will award race entry credits to SCCA drivers in the 2015 SFR Championship Road Racing Series events at Thunderhill Raceway.

The Thunderhill Rewards series includes three race weekends at Thunderhill:
• March 7-8 Regional
• May 16-17 Regional
• October 24-25

Regional Participation in any race will accrue one credit per sanction number (i.e., one per weekend). Dual entry in another class will earn another credit. Participation in the final weekend Regional October 24 is mandatory to qualify for Rewards.

A Thunderhill Rewards decal is required on each side of the car. Tech will check to verify that Thunderhill Reward$ decals are in place. Decals are available at Tech and Registration.

Amount of Rewards awarded to each driver will be determined at season’s end by the Region based on total entry count.

Payout will be in entry credits on MotorsportReg.com and will be made at the end of the series.

Current point standings will be published on www.sfrscca.org and a notice mailed to all current drivers.
