If my car is back together in time, I will be going to ACS this weekend. Never having driven it, I was in need of onboard video to prep.
Most of the videos I have found from there are not extremely useful for a variety of reasons. However I knew of a video from a race win that was high quality and gave me views of the driver and track that would help me.
This is the on board from the greatest driver I have ever known. Unfortunately this is the only race win from him before he closed his eyes for the last time (though he was on the podium the previous day). This win came from a very small garagista organization with a fraction of the budget and experience of the large teams. Both the driving and the mechanics were primarily developed in the small shop they came from, though as with most people, there were many good friends that helped along the way. A good friend of mine once gave me advice to never post the on boards. But I think that with the driver being gone, he will forgive me for this indiscretion.
This is my son. The best person I have ever known. Still teaching me.

P.S. TMC Drivers that have never driven ACS. I urge you to look at the final complex before heading onto the oval. In particular the bumps coming through the second section and the tire bundle on the right side of the car. Keep your hands loose and do not pinch the car through the bumps.
Also, you might notice that Nova was off throttle quite a bit through the last few corners. He was such a good boy. Listened to his stupid father too much. I told him before the race not to lose his drafting partners before the oval. Even though he was easily pulling away through the infield, he held back. He should have just rabbitted it and been done with it.
