Even though there happens to be a specific rule in this case (which you would have known had you bothered to read the rules), that isn't how the GCR (and itost racing rule books) work. The onus isn't on others to show you where it says you can't do something. You need to show where in the rules it says you can. By your logic I'll ask, "Show me where in the rules it says I can't go to all my competitors' cars in grid before the race and let the air out of their tires.(*)" Creative interpretation of the rules "intent" is why we have a 900+ page rule book in the first place.
* Yeah, yeah, you could probably quote 2.1.7. Acting in an unsportsmanlike manner. So I'll just make sure Brady is at the event and he lets the air out of the tires.
Todd, I read the fing rules. Not once, not twice but proably once a month in some part. So give me a break. Ive read the sections have put up here. I initially interpreted that section in a very different way. And because I did interpret in a different way, my asking fir someone to show me is asking for something that I didn't think existed. Not an action to cover up laziness. No, we have a 900 word rule book because the "words" are inadequate to convey intent so guys go in violating the intent because the words allow them to.
You are being as obtuse as me. I dont like that. That is my domain. And as a narcissistic bastard, that is unacceptable.
