Hi Everybody!
If anyone is looking to register for NASA Western States Championships, let me know. I probably can't make it, and can transfer my registration to you for the earlier lower registration fee.-Doug
I will drive for you and try to take the GTS3 fight to Tristan

Great thanks Richard.
On a side note, my car passed CA smog today! Automatically dismissed from any engine tech at the championships???

Whats the latest info on gas? Do we bring our own or do we have to buy it at the track?

Track 91 fuel only.
Matt, this is not a pick on Matt post. Been curious for some time, could you be disqualified for the accessory hitch on the rear of your Spec Miata???

Bench, you know the answer to that.
You are infamous for your views on IIDSYCYC.

Lol I get this question a lot so don't worry about asking. Regionally, I have been given the go ahead because people understand that I don't have a tow vehicle or trailer.
As for this weekend, I am driving my car to the track (as a backup car) and need the hitch for my tire tail. If I end up needing to drive the car at this event, I will take it off.
I have been told it could be considered "lower center of gravity due to ballast placement". Personally I don't think this really makes sense because ballast is better off in the passenger floor anyways (inboard the wheelbase, same height from the ground), but I respect the rules and have no problem taking it off for this event. When I can afford a tow vehicle and trailer it will come off permanently. No need to hijack this thread though so send me a message if you want to talk more about it.

Remember the thread is about selling Doug's spot at the Nat's, not the Nat's thread.
Has he sold it ?
I don't think anything spoken here unless from John is official about the gas.
Has to be an email or something from NASA, IMO.
J~
Lol sorry Doug, hope you sold it. There was another championships thread but I could not find it... Johnny post on it and bump it to the top?
As for track fuel, it is official. John Mueller sent out an email earlier this morning.
