So I've got the light. Where can I get 12v for it under the hood (or can I hook it up to another car to run the light)? I can ground it on the manifold. Then I warm it up to temp, jump the GND to TEN in the diagnostics, hook up the light to the #1 plug wire (furthest forward), then pull the trigger.
My pulley is already marked. That should be it, right?
Thanks.

Hook the 12V power wire to the alternator output wire, under the gray plastic cap.

Thanks. I also just read the that nut in the fuse box will work too. I confirmed its 12v, but haven't tried to clip on the light. Warming up the car now.

So, when the car is warmed up, the idle seems to settle at 850 per the tach on the car. When I jump it, it goes up to about 1k. Don't I want to set the timing at 850?
