I have a 91 blowing the gauge fuse and think I have it narrowed down to the back of the block and trans area.

I was wondering if anyone has come across this issue before I rip the harness apart ?

I was told it's the fuel injector wiring harness.

welcome to the world of the 20 yo wiring harness.. I had this problem so I replaced the fuse with a self re-setting circuit breaker works like a champ!!! just a few bucks at Autozone

"welcome to the world of the 20 yo wiring harness.."

It's not like we're working on old British cars with wiring that would crumble when you move it! Most of the "wiring" issues I've seen through my shop has usually been the result of someone,at sometime either damaging the wire from carelessness or not reinstalling the wire back into the factory harness clips/retainers and it chafed through on something. Installing a self resetting breaker on that circuit will eventually melt something(there's a short somewhere), but at least you WILL find the fault! Just follow the smoke!
