What is Supermiata?

It is a Southern California based w2w series for cars specifically prepped to Supermiata S2 rules. Visit the www.Supermiata.com site for full rules.

Each weekend begins with practice, qualifying then two back to back standing start SuperSprint races. Sunday is two more back to back SuperSprint races. Depending on field size, at least two races during the weekend are inverted grid. Saturday night is the famous Supermiata- Miata Challenge BBQ. Food and beer free for all drivers. We are now bringing a professional chef to make some world class eats on site.

Any year engine allowed but you will need ana NB engine to be competitive.

2300# comp weight

Power capped at 140whp Dynojet SAE corrected. Torque curve specified as per rules.

Coilovers (single adjustable only), spring rates and sway bars free

15x9 max wheel width

225/45/15 Maxxis RC-1 spec tire. Available at discounted price of $140 for racers only

Plastic air dam an undertray up front (easy and cheap)

Polycarbonate rear duck tail spoiler( also easy and cheap)

5 spd x 4.3 Torsen

Light flywheel

NB Sport brake allowed on all cars

Cooling system free. Lightweight aluminum radiator and coolant reroute are common

Oil coolers allowed

Heavy duty throttle bodies allowed

Standalone programmable engine computers allowed

Non OEM hardtops allowed

Extended lower ball joints allowed

 

Proposed S3 class

For SCCA/NASA legal 1.6 Spec miatas dyno verified at 110whp Dynojet SAE corrected, 2250# running 205/50/15 Maxxis RC-1. No other changes allowed.
