NA, time to cage.  Chump sprints and local W2W series. Specs are 1.5X.095 DOM or 1.5X.120 ERW. Nascar door bars/etc.

Getting wildly different weight numbers from several, well known, weld-in cage suppliers. Starting at 100lbs and maxing out at almost 160lbs. This isn't making sense to me, even with the weight difference between the two different tubing sizes, which I calculated to be around 15lbs for the approx. 70 linear feet of tubing for the typical NA miata cage.

Need independently weighed/confirmed #'s for the total weight of your cages, as installed. Even if you built it yourself, if it's been weighed/you know tubing size/type and it passed tech for SM/Chump/NASA/SuperMiata/etc. I'm interested. Tks.

Sounds like you already know the answer...  :)

1.5"x0.095" is 1.42 lbs per foot.  70 feet is typical, and is thus ~100lbs.  Add in ~10 lbs for base plates, any gussets, brackets, weld, paint, and you're talking in the ballpark of 110 lbs.

Shipping weight on my cage is ~ 190 pounds. That includes box, packing material and skid. My estimate is that the steel itself weighs 160 pounds. That being said, I use long tubes into the trunk, oversize footings to strengthen the floor, dash bar,  extra diagonal bars, and 10 gussets. I would imagine a minimalist cage could be done for around 100 pounds. Every cage builder has different ideas on what bars are needed and exactly where they go. The number of bars, and their length is the biggest factor in total weight. Weight of the cage should not be a deciding factor in which cage you purchase.

Not saying any cage is wrong, but I like mine the best. But I am totally biased.
