Hey guys, I have a new to me 1990 spec  The vent from the valve cover is going into an old  1 qt. oil bottle that is tie wrapped to the car. Is this normal? Is this legal? Do you all use an oil separator? Thanks Matt

I was wondering why they would do the vent into oil can thing?  From what I've read there is a restricter in the hose from the valve cover to the metal hose to slow down air flow and oil transference, is this necessary? I wouldn't think Mazda would put it in there unless they thought it was needed.

Wow. That's a lot of red tubing.

A throttle cable cover? Covers for the brake and clutch hard lines? Huh.

Well, it is red so its good for 0.5s.

On the other hand, his dipstick still has the pull-ring. +1.0s for that foul.
