 Can anyone tell me the schedule for the Friday, July 29th test day?  What are the groups, how many sessions, how long are the sessions?

 

Motorsportsreg site says to contact Deborah at RA.  Called there several times last week and again this week -- they say she is "too busy" to speak on the phone.  No one else there can tell me the schedule.  They say to send her an email which I did a week ago with no response.  Also, RA site does not have the info but it does say the registration is non-refundable and the price apparently increases if you register less than 14 days in advance.  Dandy customer service for a "world-class" track.

Thanks. That's my understanding too which is why I did not bother to mention I left Kay a VM last week asking her to call if she could help but I got no response so I assume she had no helpful info.

From my experience,the test day is 100% run by the track. Schedule will be dependant on how many cars and in what classes sign up. I have seen open track with potty breaks to 7 groups with 150 cars.

At the very least they should state that on their site.
But what they should really do is post a planned schedule that is the minimum number of sessions and track time expected.

Tom, after two calls, I finally talked to the infamous Debra who is in charge of test days. Per her the info, number of groups, session length and number of sessions will be on the RA site 7/18/16.

It is Road America. They do whatever they want. They wanted to charge me $100 to park my semi from Sunday night to Monday afternoon, following the Sprints. In the fricking grass!!!!

FYI, there is a Thursday test and tune. Limited to 20 cars at $1000 per car.

We looked at that but even with just 20 cars they say there may be as many as four run groups (as I recall). Would be nice to plan ahead for one of those and have 20 slowish closed-wheel cars fill it up for a single run group.
