I know we are all waiting patiently for registration to open up. I can't exactly tell where the link is going to be, I don't see it on Motorsport Reg. Anyone know?

Question:
How did the Mazda drivers register for a space in the upper and central paddock before registration opens?
Searched the paddock map a bit more and found Drago, Webb and some other site regulars.

There was a survey sent out last month and it was posted on the Mazda WebSite stating you could sign up for Spots in the Mazda Tent World, deadline was July 11th.

Under the Mazda tent I get, How about grass spots away from the tent? Did Mazda have a temporary hold on a bunch of grass spots?

Drago wins again, first to register, I am like 10th,
When i first went to register it said my license was not valid.
It showed only my 2016 registration. so I called SCCA and got them on the horn, she told me try again as they took that requirement off as not everyone was up to date.

How do we know at all if we were 'preselected' by Mazda after completing the survey?
I went ahead and grabbed a grass spot just to make sure I had somewhere reasonable to paddock.

I called to confirm but they sent an email to everyone yesterday with assignment. You have spot 116.

Stupid question time (this is my first runoffs):
So my "SG116" area is where to park the tow vehicle & trailer and I have a 10x20 spot within the Mazda tent?
