The South Jersey Region will be conducting a NARRC and NJRRS championship series event at New Jersey Motorsports Park. This event is the Summer Thunder regional races on the Thunderbolt course on 13-14 August. The weekend will also feature the Fidelity Power Systems Pro IT Round 3.

A major new component has been included in this traditional mid summer weekend - the Saturday Night Special. This feature is a one hour race at the end of the day on Saturday for all closed wheel cars entered in the Summer Thunder regional and running on DOT tires. An Index of Performance has been established for all eligible cars and prizes will be awarded based on index. Are you ready for the Special?
