rain set up?.sway bar disenable ?

hi everyone
i will be going super school on the up coming weekend at buttonwillow socal.and it's look like it will be raining so bad .
this gonna be my first race (if i can finish the school).
and i am new with the sm.

my question is how u guys set up it car once it'S rain ?
i have heard some people disenable the sway bar.wil that help?
or any other suggest?

Sky, just make sure you have a set of rain tires and you should be fine. If its raining on Sunday for the regional, ask around and one of us SM guys will help you out.

Yes, disconnect one side on the front and rear. Softer suspension helps build heat in the tires. Your "hot" pressures in the wet will be different as well.

thx for the respond guys.
so i should lower my tire pressure as well.
but what's the tire pressure the ra1 like?i used to run nt01 that's the first set ra1 that i have.

Sky read the other post on the duplicate chain I posted. Lowering your air pressure is not a good idea, that takes pressure off the center of the tread and holds water IN. Stay around 38-40 psi if there is any standing water.

Phew...... that was a close one!

Most people will only disconnect the rear bar. I've disconnected both when it was really sketchy but that depends on how the car is handling on a given track as oversteer vs. understeer.

I will try disconnect the Rear bar and have more Tire pressure.
