MX5ExperienceMazda is bringing the MX-5 Experience across the United States to allow everyone a chance to slip behind the wheel of the award-winning 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata - or grab a spot in the passenger seat with one of Mazda’s professional racers. No need to register in advance: just show up and drive!
At each MX-5 Experience, drivers 18 and older with a valid license and pass an on-site breathalyzer test, can put the MX-5 through a series of three stations to test all of the key attributes of the car. Each driver will have one-on-one instruction at each station.
1.) Braking Station - Test the braking power of the MX-5 with a straight run into a small braking zone.
2. ) Stability Control Station - Participants work with an instructor to run through a slalom course. Don’t knock down any cones!
3.) Hot Laps Station – Time to Zoom-Zoom as drivers zip through a safe course, testing all aspects of the MX-5.
Here are the upcoming stops for the MX-5 Experience:
1.) Philadelphia Mills Mall, Philadelphia September 2 - 3
2.) Arlington Park, Arlington Heights, IL Sept. 9 - 10
3.) Grandsport Speedway, Hitchcock, Texas Sept. 23 - 24
4.) Orange County Great Park, Irvine, CA Oct. 8 - 9
5.) Auto Club Speedway, Fontana, CA Oct. 15 - 16
6.) Pacific Raceway, Kent, WA Oct. 28 - 29
No need to pre-register! Just show up and drive.
